Dr. Bill B. Moore

Dr. Bill Moore, along with his sister and a handful of first cousins, was raised on the family dairy farm in the rolling hills of eastern Tennessee. During high school he was very active in both the local 4-H club and FutureFarmers of America, competing at all levels including the national dairy judging and parliamentary procedure contests. Dr. Moore studied Animal Science at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville before graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He then joined a veterinary practice in Athens, Tennessee where he worked on a wide variety of species. In addition to dogs, cats & pocket pets, Bill routinely visited farms over six counties to provide veterinary care to horses and cows. The practice also provided the opportunity to help injured wildlife and exotic pets.

For the past 20 years, Dr. Moore has focused exclusively on dogs, cats, & a few pocket pets while working at practices in East Tennessee and South Florida. In addition to wellness care for the furry members of the family, he has extensive knowledge of internal medicine, critical care, dermatology animal behavior. He has spent many years improving his ultrasonography skills through short courses and working alongside boarded specialists.
